Puppy's head freed from concrete block in hour-long ordeal
On Monday the fire brigade in Waalwijk had to rescue a puppy from a bizarre situation. The three month old puppy got his head stuck in a concrete block.
At about 14:00 p.m. a woman on De Coubertinlaan called the fire brigade. She said that her playful puppy had had taken a run up and dove head first into the concrete block. She tried to free the little dog herself, but when she failed, she turned to the fire brigade.
The fire brigade managed to free the puppy from its unusual headgear after about an hour by rubbing his neck with dish soap.
