Planning underway to bring MH17 to Netherlands
The wreckage of flight MH17 will be transported from Kharkiv to the Netherlands by road.
"A decision was made today to drop plans for railway transportation... Initially we chose the Lviv region where the train was to arrive from the Netherlands, and reloading would begin from our train. We dropped that idea. Four Dutch transport experts are coming tomorrow who, upon examination of the cargo contained in the rail cars, will organize its auto transportation to Holland." said Ihor Baluta, head of the Kharkiv regional state administration on Monday.
The wreckage will undergo customs clearance in Kharkiv. The exact date of the transport will be announced after the Dutch transport experts have examined the cargo.
