Drunk woman breaks Rotterdam cop's leg

An aggressive drunk woman broke the leg of a Rotterdam police officer on Sunday night. On Sunday night at about midnight the officers responded to a collision on the A20 at the height of Schiedam. Here the woman caused a one sided accident on her way to Vlaardingen. The 32 year old inhabitant of Vlaardingen was arrested and taken to a police station by bus for a breath test. In the bus the drunk woman became aggressive and attacked the police officers. She spat, bit and kicked them. She hit the police officer sitting with her so hard that the officer's fibula was broken. The officers was taken to a hospital where it became clear that the officer with the broken fibula will need surgery on her leg. The suspect is in custody pending further investigation.
