Crazed motorcyclist injures cop in traffic stop

At about 22:30 p.m. on Saturday, the police arrested a 40 year old man from Helmond under heavy resistance. The man freaked out when officers spoke to him about his motorcycle's lights not working. The man began to curse and shout immediately. The police asked the man for his proof of identity. The man did not have any proof of identity on him and only shouted and cursed some more, so the police arrested him. The man freaked out and during a struggle, threatened the officers with death. He twisted the fingers of one officer and caused many scrapes and bruises of another. Once cuffed, he was taken to the police station. While arresting the man, the police found a cachet with what appears to be cocaine. The police are not excluding the possibility that the man was under the influence of drugs during his violent outburst.
