Dutch Kurd dies fighting ISIS in Iraq

The Federation Kurds in the Netherlands announced on Sunday that a Dutch Kurd was killed in the fight against terrorist organization Islamic State (ISIS) in Iraqi Kurdistan. The victim is Yusuf Kocher. He was killed on Tuesday in an explosive ordnance disposal. His cousin, Dindar Kocher, who lives in the Netherlands along with the rest of the victim's family, has announced that there will be a memorial service in the Netherlands. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs could not confirm that the Dutchman was killed in the battle area. Earlier on Sunday the Iraqi authorities announced that ISIS has confirmed that its leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, was injured on Saturday in an air strike by the coalition led by the United States. In a tweet an ISIS spokesperson, Mohammed al-Adnani said that the "emir is O.K.". He wished him a quick recovery, but did not comment on the severity of Baghdadi's injuries. "Do you think that the caliphate would end with the death of the caliph? We announce that it goes well with leader Abu Bakr al-Bagdadi" said the spokesperson.
