Dutch Eurovision selection announced

Trijntje Oosterhuis will represent the Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Festival in Wenen next year. She confirmed the rumors this morning. Oosterhuis said in an reaction that she feels "enormously honored". She calls it "extra stressful" because her predecessors Ilse DeLange and Waylon came in second last year with The Common Linnets, behind winner Conchita Wurst. The song she will sing is being finalized. She confirms that it is co-written by Anouk. The two of them have worked together in the past for Oosterhuis' 2012 album Wrecks we Adore.
