Full schedule of National MH17 Memorial revealed

The country’s national memorial service for the victims of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17 takes place at the RAI convention center in Amsterdam on Monday afternoon. Full details of the event can be found below.
  • The ceremony starts at 1 p.m with introductory remarks
  • Remarks by Prime Minister Mark Rutte
  • Performance of “Voor Altijd” by Marco Borsato
  • Funeral offering from two survivors
  • Performance of Mozart’s “Lacrimosa” requiem
  • Funeral offering from a survivor
  • Performance of “Kom dan bij Mij” by Lenette van Dongen
  • Performance of “Pie Jesu” by Maartje Rammeloo, from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Requiem
  • All 298 victims will be named by survivors
  • Performance of “Last Post” by horn player Adjutant Officer Hans Flowers of the Royal Air Force
  • Chapel
  • One minute of silence
  • The first stanza of Dutch national anthem Wilhelmus will be played
  • Performance of “Beautiful” by Douwe Bob
  • Eulogy by Jacobine Geel
  • Funeral offering from a survivor
  • Performance of “I Was Here” by Glennis Grace
  • At roughly 2:30 p.m. the ceremony will close
