Breda station fire halts Brabant trains
Today at around 12:15 p.m a fire started in the Breda station. The fire raged in the north side of the station.
The fire was extinguished by 12:52 p.m, but there was still a lot of smoke in the building. Train traffic in Breda has been shut down as a precaution, but is expected to start up again soon.
Construction work currently underway at the station may be a possible cause of the fire. The fire started in insulation material on site. No injuries were reported.
