French fugitive caught in Brabant

On Wednesday the EVA team of the police Den Haag arrested a 47 year old French fugitive in Grave. The team had been looking for the man for some time. The man has been sentenced to pay a 31,807 euro fine or spend 83 days in prison. In connection with his criminal past - which includes bank robberies and extortion - the man has been declared Persona Non Grata in the Netherlands. The EVA team focuses on offenders who still have to do their punishment.
