Schiphol: No complaints about ex-KLM chief

On Thursday morning Schiphol CEO Jos Nijhuis praised the "energy and commitment" with which departed colleague Camiel Eurlings of KLM gave substance to his position. "I look back on a good and intensive cooperation in a challenging period for European aviation" Nijhuis said. Schiphol is the home base of KLM, which in turn is by far the largest customer of the airport company. The relationship between the two companies were often strained in recent years, notably by disagreement over the level of airport charges. Eurlings resigned overnight, with immediate effect.
