Police working new leads in Lithuanian's murder

Today the police are searching for the weapon used in the murder of the Lithuanian Gintas Macionis (37). About 20 police officers with the support of dog handlers started searching the recreation park Groenendries in Huijbergen at 09:30 am this morning for the firearm. Recent concrete evidence indicated that the firearm as well as some other things were discarded in the vicinity. The 37 year old Gintas Macionis was murdered on February 22nd. He was found seriously injured in the driveway of his house in Groenendries. He was shot in the head and later died in the hospital.
