Bus rams into tree injuring at least 20

Eleven people were wounded in a bus accident in the Hague. According to the fire department eight people were taken to the hospital, including the driver. The fire department initially spoke of 20 to 25 wounded, but later said that the number of wounded was lower, Volkskrant reports. The HTM bus crashed into a tree on Hengelo avenue. It is not clear weather the driver became unwell. The police can not yet say exactly how many passengers were on the bus. Injured passengers were removed from the bus on stretchers. Passengers who did not need treatment were collected by another HTM bus. According to the fire department, the natural gas bus has been made safe. Hengelo avenue has been closed off.
