Schiphol train service resumes today

All works on the train tracks to and from Schiphol seems to have been finalized, and traffic to or from the airport is up and running again after copper theft last week left trains unable to use the tracks. Rail maintenance firm ProRail worked throughout the weekend to make repairs to the tracks after copper thieves cut through electric wiring. The works were set to continue through to 5.10 p.m. Monday. According to the NS website, however, all Schiphol maintenance work has been cleared, and traffic is back to regular scheduling, with some minor delays in the morning. After 11 a.m., there are no longer scheduled delays on the Schiphol line.
