Car used in Tilburg jewelry store smash & grab

On Thursday morning, a jewelry store in Tilburg was ram-raided, causing significant damage. According to the police, there were three suspects who used a car to crash into the jewelry store in Heyhoef around 4.30 a.m. The suspects used a white station wagon to smash the front of the store. Although it is clear that the robbers entered the store, initial investigation could not conclude what exactly was taken from the shop. According to paper De Gelderlander the jewelry store owner claims that there are at least several watches missing when he arrived at the crime scene. A police spokesperson announces that three suspects were seen escaping on a scooter. These are now being searched for. In the mean time, investigators are also looking for evidence inside the store.
