Beat down at Dance Valley event

A 21-year-old man from Overveen suffered injuries to his teeth Saturday, when he suffered a beat-down from a group at the Dance Valley event in Spaarnwoude.

The incident took place around the toilets at the event. Police characterize the incident as “serious abuse.” Some of the victim’s injuries are permanent. Police say they have arrested two men in this case -a 31-year-old from Amsterdam and a 32-year-old from Purmerend-, and are looking for witnesses. “In particular we are looking for a man with a green T-shirt who pulled one of the suspects off,” police say.
