Overdose death at music festival

A festival-goer at Hardcore XL in Nuland passed away Sunday morning due to a drug overdose, the police believe. The 22-year old died shortly after being admitted to hospital. The man reported himself to the first-aid stand at the festival the night before. The staff there referred him to hospital, where he was brought as quickly as possible with an ambulance. According to the police, the man died shortly after arrival. An overdose on Ecstasy pills with a high MDMA content is suspected. The police will investigate where the man got the pills, and if there are more of these pills in circulation. A 24-year-old man died at hardcore music festival Dominator last week as well. Similarly, a drug overdose is suspected.
