Man killed in home invasion

A man was killed in Winterswijk, Gelderland, on Wednesday evening when three unidentified men broke into a home on the Groenloseweg. According to sources for RTL Nieuws, the victim was the resident of the home. Police were alerted to the home invasion by the victim's wife, who was bound but unharmed and managed to escape. The man was found dead outside his home. The pair are middle-aged. Three men in their twenties wearing hoodies broke into the home around 8.15 p.m. According to RTL, they managed to escape. It is unknown whether they took anything. Police have alerted Burgernet in the hope that someone will be able to give more information on the suspects.
