Mega drug haul in Tilburg

Police confiscated and destroyed a sizable load of hash in Tilburg over the weekend.

Authorities report that one suspect -a 44-year-old male with unknown residence- has been arrested in connection with the 2,000 kilograms of hash that were found at Castor straat in Tilburg. The catch was the result of a police investigation.

Police say that the drugs were stashed in buckets and were apparently destined for transport to England. It was hauled off and secured with the assistance of the military and destroyed later in the weekend.
