Raising money for robber killed in Deurne

A Moroccan foundation from Delft has raised money for the family of Youssef F., one of the two men who were killed as they attempted to rob the jewelry business Goldies in Deurne. The foundation, Bladi, has the goal of helping the needy in the Netherlands and in Morocco. It started the collection when it seemed that there would not be enough money to send the body of the 29-year old man back to Morocco for repatriation and burial. The Facebook page was able to raise around €3000. The manager of the Facebook page emphasizes that the foundation does not approve of the robber's actions. "We collected money so that he could be buried and out of respect and sympathy for his mother."
