Ajax, AZ fans brawl in Alkmaar

Football fans of AZ and Ajax came to blows on Thursday evening in Alkmaar. Some hooligans even threw fireworks at each other, and the Mobile Unit had to get involved. AZ, from Alkmaar, lost the KNVB-cup to Ajax on the night. Subsequently, the opposing teams took to the Koelmalaan to vent their fury out. Around 70 supporters of both clubs were involved in the fight. Once the Mobile Unit took action, the fans fled from the scene. As far as is known, nobody got injured, and nobody was apprehended.
