Cambuur fans want money from Ajax

Supporters from SC Cambuur were not able to reach the stadium on Sunday, due to riots around the match between Cambuur and Ajax, that ended in a tie, 1-1. The Friesland Club demands a financial compensation for its supporters.

The Club claims their supporters, who were transported in by bus, were attacked by Ajax supporters, so they were not able to make it to the ArenA. Cambuur wants to thoroughly investigate what happened, so adequate measures can be taken to protect their fans. "In all cases we are aiming for a financial compensation for our accompanying supporter," according to a statement on the website of the Friesland football club.
