World Cup tix for all Oranje fans

Oranje fever is back, as it is expected that the Dutch national team will be supported by about 5000 fans this summer. Everyone who has applied for a ticket via the KNVB or the Supportersclub can book their tickets to Brazil to see the World Cup. Due to the long distance and hefty prices, the supply wasn't expected to exceed the demand. "Our experience from South Africa teaches that Oranje fever strikes when we advance in the tournament" Gijs de Jong says on behalf of the KNVP project leader of the World Cup team. "For the matches after the group phase and hopefully the final, we expect a lot from that as well." During the last World Cup, four years ago in South Africa, there were also around 5000 spectators present per group match. Oranje will play in group B against Spain (13th June), Australia (18th June) and Chile (23 June).
