Dutch AG says ban pedophile association

The pedophile association 'Martijn' needs to be banned, according to the recommendation of the Attorney General (AG) earlier this afternoon to the High Council. The Council tends to adopt the recommendations of the AG. The association, which glorifies sexual intercourse with minors, was banned by the Assen court in 2012, but that verdict was overthrown by the Leewarden court in 2013.

The Leeuwarden court ruled society wasn't negatively affected by the ideas the association adhered. The Prosecution announced they would appeal the decision, and CDA and ChristenUnie announced to be working on legislation to ban similar parties in the future. The AG thinks 'Martijn' is absolutely capable of negatively impacting society by claiming sexual interactions between adults and minors is perfectly normal. The High Council was initially going to rule on Friday, but postponed until April 18.
