White kangaroo caught in Rijsbergen

The white kangaroo that was spotted in Rijsbergen after it escaped Tuesday, was caught again on Wednesday. The search was initially called off after its owner was identified, because chasing it could be fatal to the animal. A veterinarian managed to tranquillize it with a tranquilizer gun. The kangaroo, who is white as snow, was safely returned to its owner, according to the police. Several reports came in, Tuesday, from several people, who had spotted a small, white kangaroo hopping around in Rijsbergen. Since then, several attempts were made to capture the animal.
