Marco Borsato touched by support after stroke

Marco Borsato is home after a two-day stay in a hospital, recovering from a TIA he suffered last week Wednesday, on his way to "Vrienden van Amstel LIVE" in Ahoy in Rotterdam. Borsato published a letter on his site telling his fans in his own words what happened that day. marco borsato
@ttfynl/ Twitter The singer described suddenly losing his sight partly, developing tunnel vision. He was dizzy, his vision was blurred, and he had trouble keeping his balance when standing upright. He was rushed to the nearest hospital, where he was diagnosed with a TIA, a blood cloth in the blood vessels of the brain. Borsato is doing well according to circumstances, regained his vision and his balance. He was very lucky to receive quick and swift treatment to prevent worse, according to the letter. Borsato expressed his appreciation and gratitude to everybody involved and the heartwarming well wishes from his fans. The singer is optimistic about the future. Against his own nature, he wants to heed doctor's orders and take it very easy in the period ahead.
