Seedorf new coach AC Milan

36-year-old Clarence Seedorf, the former "Oranje" player, is the new AC Milan trainer, starting immediately, announced Simon Zwartkruis, a good friend of the new trainer, on the "Voetbal International" website . Seedorf will sign a contract until 2016 in Milanello on Thursday. After a 4-3 defeat against UD Sassuolo trainer Massimiliano Allegri was fired on the spot. Seedorf will depart for Milan on Thursday, meet his team in Milanello on Friday, be presented to the media on Saturday, and take his spot on the bench as coach on Sunday, when his team will play against Hellas Verona, wrote the Gazzetta dello Sport. The former AC Milan player, twice national champion, and twice Champions League winner, is still under contract with Botafogo, but will use an escape clause in his contract with the Brazilian club, to leave for his new job. Seedorf is taking an accelerated training course with the KNVB and was hoping to finish it in April. For now it's unclear who the new assistant coaches will be. Several names are emerging from different sources, such as Jaap Stam, Hernan Crespo, and Filippo Inzaghi. Mauro Tassotti is the interim coach.
