Drop in psychiatrists fees for driver’s license inspection

The Dutch Healthcare Authority has decided to reduce the fees psychiatrists charge for driver's license checks after many complaints, Nos reported on Friday. Caught Drink-Driving / Wikipedia Drivers who caught drink-driving are required to submit a psychiatric analysis to reapply. Health insurance does not cover these tests. The fees have been dropped to €78 for 15 minutes and €39 for additional 15 minutes. According to a spokesman, some people who were out five minutes were charged €250. However, the new tariff system is rejected by a large number of psychiatrists, saying the new rates are not reasonable.
