UAE bans Vitesse defender Mori

Dutch football club Vitesse said it will go for a training camp in the United Arab Emirates for second half of the season without defender Dan Mori, who is not allowed to enter UAE because of having an Israeli passport. Over the weekend, the club said that Mori was going to UAE. According to the club’s spokeswoman Esther Bal, the club was given a guarantee that Mori can join the team, but assurance was withdrawn just the day before their departure. Ball told Radio 1 that the club does not want to cancel the camp because that would disturb the club’s preparations. She also said that Mori wants to take some rest. In UAE, Vitesse will play friendlies against German sides VfL Wolfsburg and Hamburger SV. Dan Mori / Wikipedia
