Another pearl found in one night

The likelihood of finding a pearl in an oyster is 1 in 35,000, reported Omroep Zeeland. And yet it happened twice in one evening in Yerseke in Zeeland. The pearls were found in different homes, where oysters were on the menu. Patrick van de Endt was enjoying a Christmas dinner with friends when he suddenly bit on something hard. Jokes were made about it being a shell in the oyster, but it turned out to be a pearl. The pearl Van de Endt found was a bit smaller than the double pearl found earlier on the same evening by Hannah van den Boomgaard, who was also enjoying oysters.
