Companies worried about paternity leave expansion plan

VNO-NCW and MKB-Netherlands are concerned about the Dutch government plans to expand paternity leave to five days from two. The government should stop offering additional benefits to employees because it is difficult time for many entrepreneurs, VNO-NCW said in a statement. The organization noted that how politicians can think about expanding leave at time when so many entrepreneurs fall over. Making extra paternity leave a right could result in the claim culture.
