Liberty already owns a 28.5% stake in Ziggo. In October, Ziggo rejected an offer from Liberty saying that the proposed price was too low. The company did not disclose how much Liberty offered. “Ziggo notes the recent market speculation and announces that it is currently in discussions with Liberty Global regarding a potential offer for the company by Liberty Global. There is no certainty that any agreement can be reached or that any offer will ultimately be made,” the company said in a statement.
