The city council also approved a new zone for the city’s prostitutes.
Wegra owns the vast majority of the sex boats on the Zandpad. The company’s license was cancelled by Utrecht Mayor Aleid Wolfsen in late July because the company was involved in facilitating human trafficking.
The city plans to relocate prostitutes to a new area, which will have 162 workspaces for prostitutes.
