Rabobank To Launch Mobile Payment Solution in Netherlands

Dutch financial institution Rabobank has partnered with Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) to launch a commercial mobile payment solution in the Netherlands. The mobile payment solution will be available to Dutch customers in 2014. It will allow consumers to make payments using their smartphones, CIOL reports. Mobile Payment / Flickr Consumers will be able to pay using their smartphones via Near Field Communication (NFC) in all stores equipped with contactless point-of-sales terminals.
