Antibiotics Pact NL and Russia

Russia and the Netherlands will jointly combat antibiotics resistance. Minister Schippers of Health came to an agreement with her Russian counterpart Skvortsova. Schippers is on a trade mission in Moscow and Kazan this week.Due to excessive and indiscriminate use of antibiotics they become increasingly less effective. The bacteria build resistance to the drugs, with major public health consequences. Diseases such as pneumonia or meningitis can be life-threatening as a result.
