New Wind Farm to Produce Electricity For 245,000 Houses

Eneco has been granted a final permit for its 210 megawatt (MW) Q4 West wind farm located off the Dutch coast at Bergen aan Zee. The plant includes 70 wind turbines with a capacity of 3 MW each, Eneco said in a statement. Greater Gabbard Offshore Wind Farm / Flickr The wind farm will be located 26 kilometres off the Dutch coast. It is directly behind the company’s already Q4 wind farm. The plant will generate electricity for around 245,000 households.
