200 Threatening Tweets Every Day
The Netherlands receives 35,000 threatening Tweets every day. About 200 are so serious that police checks them very closely, according to a news report by Volkskrant.
Martine Fish, deputy police chief of the Rotterdam police and responsible for social media, said that almost every day, a Twitterer is arrested or gets a warning about a threat made via social media.

According to police, a threatening tweet is defined as a message involving threats of violence against a person. Sentences such as "I stab you", "I blow up the school” and “I'll kill you" are threatening tweet.
