NS: delays until well into Tuesday

The disruption of train traffic due to the storm will also cause problems on the tracks tomorrow, reports the NS.The west and northeast of the Netherlands are the most challenged. On 25 routes the damage is so great there is little or no traffic possible. NS_DDM_train Around Amsterdam and Zwolle there will be no train traffic until after the evening rush. Between The Hague and Rotterdam, and Arnhem - Ede Wageningen the traffic is non-existent. The damage is enormous, and includes broken overhead cables and trees on the tracks, according to a railway spokesperson. Cleaning crews will be busy till well after the evening rush. Only after the cleanup, traffic can be started up again according to the schedule. The NS advises people on their website to postpone their journey if possible.
