The suspects were reportedly linked to the notorious Colombian drug cartel Los Urabeños. That is a military based gang that arose after the demobilization, almost ten years ago, from right-wing paramilitary militias who call themselves AUC (United Self-Defense Forces of Colombia). Just like their counterparts of the FARC (Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia) they sowed death and destruction and financed the terror with drugs. As a remnant of the AUC Los Urabeños shows an extremely murderous gang that even terrifies other Colombian gangs .
