100,000 new Burgernetters
The promotion to recruit new participants for Burgernet (Citizen net), has so far resulted in 100,000 new members since the start 3 weeks ago, reports the Ministry of Safety and Justice.The support system of the police Burgernet now counts 1.35 million participants. Until the beginning of September 10 percent of Burgernet-tips has contributed in the arrest of a suspect or finding a missing person, according to the Ministry.
