Government Needs Investors' Help

The Dutch government has requested the assistance of investors. According to De Volkskrant, the government has asked pension funds, insurers, and banks in assisting the stagnant economy to start again. Amsterdam, the Netherlands
Dohduhdah/Wikimedia Commons In 2012, private talks were initiated among financial institutions with a shared capital worth €900 billion, the Dutch daily reports. So far, there are four discussions on mortgages, SMEs, health system, and the construction and infrastructure sector. Furthermore, the meeting focused on the specific guarantee the government can offer in return for its needed loans. With the current economic downturn, the Netherlands requires an extra €6 billion to cover its budget for the following year.
