Manchester United to welcome Kevin Strootman
PSV midfielder Kevin Strootman will be Manchester United’s first major summer signing. He will be replacing Paul Scholes, who will soon be retiring.
The Red Devils have been interested with Strootman for some time now. Finally, the 23-year-old Strootman will be joining the club for £15 million. New manager David Moyes is excited with his choice so he could take care of the midfield problem.

Strootman also made a positive impression with Arsenal; however, he has apparently been waiting for the right offer. Manchester United also signed Uruguay’s Guillermo Varela; nevertheless, Strootman seems like a wise deal.
The Dutch player has played internationally for the Netherlands, with 187 appearances in Eredivisie by now. His addition to the Red Devils is something the United fans are looking forward to.
