Presidential Advisor on Religious Affairs Reverend Macdonald Sembereka said the aid provided by the Dutch was a promise to the Mpondasi Health Centre in their 2012 visit. He also added the equipment donated in the maternity ward are very important in decreasing the rate of maternal and child mortality.
Sembereka said the Mpondasi Health Centre was considered and picked for the project because of the heavy population in the region. Likewise, the centre is in need of change and improvement as it is very old.
Reverend Sembereka asks the Mpondasi Health Centre’s management and workers to properly handle the equipment to assure the donors and benefactors.
