50K Signed Up for Walking Event

A total of 50,314 people have signed up for the Nijmeegse Vierdaagse, the famous yearly four-day walking event in Nijmegen, a city in the province of Gelderland. However, only 46 thousand people are allowed to start. The organization will have to disappoint 4,314 people after the draw on Friday. Nu.nl reported that the event from July 16 to July 19 will be held for the 97th time this year.
