New Year's Day Murder?

Aziz al Cheikh, the father of 18-year-old Nour who was found dead in Groningen on New Year’s Day, thinks his son was murdered. The public prosecutor’s office, Openbaar Ministerie (OM), will re-examine Nour’s body on Thursday and re-open the case. RTL.nl reported that the prosecutor acknowledged that there were a lot of unanswered questions about the boy’s death. The OM thus decided to investigate the case that they had dismissed as an accident. The police assumed that Nour had too much to drink and drowned in a shallow ditch, but they never tested his blood for alcohol. According to the victim's friends, Nour did not drink a lot and they said some other boys threatened him after he got involved in a fight earlier that evening.
