A Dutch investigation team on Tuesday and Wednesday salvaged more victims' remains and personal belongings from the MH17 crash site in Grabovo, eastern Ukraine, the Dutch government stated in a press release. The team of defense and police personnel returned to the site last week to continue their repatriation mission.
A 12 member team consisting of Defense employees, police employees and a member of the Dutch Safety Board is on their way to the Ukraine. The team's goal is to make preparations for the Dutch repatriation mission, which resumes in April.
The repatriation of MH17 will today take the remains they found to Kharkiv. The personal belongings secured at the scene will also go for a first forensic check.
