A police order to search the home of a man suspected in a sex crime case involving a minor, was found on the street by a reporter from Hart van Nederland in the Friesland village of Warten. The document contained the suspect's name and address details.

The document states that a home was to be searched elsewhere in Friesland based on Article 245 of the Criminal Code, which concerns sexual acts with a minor. It also states that the police intended to arrest the man and confiscate his cell phone.

The Amsterdam police is shocked by this leak. They believe that a police officer must have sent the information to the controversial news site and promise to get to the bottom of it, the Volkskrant reports.

A 37-year-old police officer from the Zeeland-West-Brabant corps was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of leaking confidential information to a third party, the Public Prosecutor announced on Thursday. He is also suspected of possession and dealing of narcotics.

A 43-year-old man from Zierikzee was also arrested in the same investigation. He is suspected of trading in hard drugs. Three addresses were searched, though the prosecutor did not say if anything of consequence was found.

The Public Prosecutor demanded 200 hours of community service against two Amsterdam lawyers suspected of bribing a police volunteer, NOS reports.

According to the Prosecutor, the lawyers paid the woman to give them confidential police information between 2010 and 2012. In doing so they damaged their occupational group and undermined the trust civilians have in lawyers, the Prosecutor said.

The 31-year-old cop is suspected of violating professional secrecy and civil corruption.

A 31-year-old police officer from the Den Haag unit was arrested on Tuesday. He is suspected of leaking confidential information from the police systems to a third party, the Public Prosecutor said in a statement. 

The cop was arrested by the Rijksrecherche, the department that handles internal investigations at the police. He will be questioned in the coming days. His home ws also searched.

In official terms, the police officer is suspected of violating professional secrecy and official corruption, according to the Prosecutor.

A prosecutor lost dozens of pages containing highly sensitive information about a drug case on the street in Utrecht. Copies of these documents are now making the rounds in the city. An anonymous source shared the original documents with DUIC.

The handwritten pages contain reports of tapped conversations and observations about a large drug case involving several members of the same Dutch-Moroccan family in Utrecht. The reports extensively discuss the trade of three men in the family. They also contain suspects' names, addresses, phone numbers and travel information.

A bank employee was dismissed with immediate effect after he was caught spying on family members' bank accounts. A Disciplinary Committee found him guilty of breaking the Banker's Oath and banned him from workng in the banking sector for six months, NU.nl reports based on the ruling.

The employee spied on the banking information of his in-laws, acquaintances, his partner and other family members.

The trial against former police officer Mark M., suspected of selling police information to criminals, was delayed until at least December so that other witnesses can be questioned. In court on Tuesday M. said that he searched the police database as a "hobby", though refused to explain how the data he searched for ended up in criminal hands. He also claims that the police lured him into a trap when he was arrested, the Volkskrant reports

The Oost-Nederland police arrested a police officer in the same unit on Tuesday on suspicion that he leaked information from the police systems to suspects in a robbery investigation. The 26-year-old cop is officially suspected of violating official confidentiality, ANP reports.

It is as yet unclear whether the information leak had any influence on the robbery investigation. The man is in custody and will be questioned.

An elite team of soldiers was deployed to help protect PVV leader Geert Wilders, the Telegraaf reported on Wednesday based on its own sources. According to the newspaper, members of the Defense team Special Security Missions Brigade (BSB) have been guarding the PVV leader for a few days already.

The Ministry of Security and Justice would not confirm these reports to the newspaper. The Koninklijke Marechaussee, a policing force that forms part of the Dutch military, would also not comment on the matter. The BSB falls under the Koninklijke Marechaussee.

The investigation was launched in September and is being performed by the University of Maastricht, the Open University and Avans Hogeschool.

Faris K., the police officer in the Safety and Security Service suspected of leaking information to a criminal gang, was previously also suspected of integrity violations, newspaper AD reports. Faris K. was investigated for leaking police information while he worked at the Utrecht police, colleagues of the suspected cop told the newspaper. The outcome of that investigation is unclear.

The Dutch nationalist and anti-Islam political party PVV has suspended all election campaigning and public appearances in the midst of a corruption scandal. The scandal involves a member of the security details of both the PVV and the royal family who was arrested on Monday for leaking classified information to organized crime figures.

Police chief Erik Akerboom said at no point was anyone's safety compromised despite allegations that security officer Faris K. is accused of leaking information to a Dutch-Moroccan gang.
