Airline FlyBe is cooperating in an investigation into a crash landing by one of its planes at Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam last week. The plane crash landed next to the Schiphol runway on Thursday late afternoon. None of the 59 passengers were injured.

It seems that the plane's landing gear on the right side collapsed when it touched ground. Exactly what happened should be revealed in the investigation. The flight was from Edinburgh, Scotland to Schiphol.

A plane destined for Amsterdam crash landed at the Dutch capital's airport Thursday evening after its right landing gear apparently collapsed. The FlyBe plane departed from Edinburgh, Scotland with 59 people on the aircraft.

The plane wound up next to the runway in the aftermath of the incident. It was not revealed if the rough winds that forced flight cancellations in Thursday had anything to do with the crash. Wind gusts were expected to hit 130 km/h on Thursday.

Videos shared on social media separated to show the plane's propellers striking the ground.
