Canada–Morocco World Cup match spurs viewing events across the Netherlands

Supporters of Canada and Morocco will have several opportunities to watch the teams’ World Cup Round of 16 match on Saturday at 7 p.m. The match itself will be in Houston, Texas, U.S. The screenings are planned across the Netherlands, including Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Eindhoven, and Tilburg.

In Amsterdam, Coco’s Outback on Rembrandtplein is being promoted as a gathering point for fans to watch the match. The event appears in informal fan listings and social media posts, including a Reddit post referencing a Canada supporters’ watch party at the venue. Coco’s Outback itself is a long-standing sports bar known for screening major international football matches, but no formal press release for this specific fixture was identified in publicly accessible listings.

In Tilburg, International Center Tilburg (Café Globe) is hosting a “World Cup Watch Party” for Morocco–Canada. The event is listed on the venue’s own website as a community screening.

Rotterdam features multiple sports venues expected to screen the match. Café Villa Kakelbont advertises itself as a regular Morocco football viewing location, stating it broadcasts Morocco matches live during international tournaments. This makes it a recurring fan gathering point rather than a one-off announced event for this specific match. Separately, the Hollywood Entertainment Center in Rotterdam lists World Cup screening packages on its official site.

A similar Hollywood Entertainment Center venue in Eindhoven also promotes World Cup screenings with reserved seating and group booking options. Like the Rotterdam location, it operates as a chain entertainment venue.

Supporters can also watch the match on TV on NPO 1 and NPO Start.
