Dutch tourist, 34, dies of heat stroke on Mallorca

A 34-year-old Dutch man died from heatstroke on the Spanish island of Mallorca on Thursday afternoon. The tourist was playing sports with a group of friends when he collapsed, RTL Nieuws reported.

The incident happened at around 3:00 p.m. in Sóller, a village on the island. It was about 31 degrees Celsius at the time.

The fire brigade, two ambulances, the police, and a doctor responded to the emergency call. They tried to resuscitate the man, but it was to no avail. He died at the scene.

The emergency report states that the man had probably suffered from heatstroke.
