Man found with gunshot wound to head in Rotterdam
A 63-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound to his head Saturday evening on Reyerdijk in the IJsselmonde neighborhood of Rotterdam, police reported. Officers performed CPR at the scene before the man was transported to the hospital. His condition remains undisclosed.
The victim was discovered shortly after 9:30 p.m. by a passerby. Shell casings were found nearby, and the area was designated a crime scene. Police cordoned off the site, halting tram services temporarily.
Authorities are investigating the incident and have not identified any suspects. They are calling on witnesses or those with CCTV footage to assist in the investigation.
